This course prepares participants to take on roles as Virtual Customer Service, Sales, Social Media or Admin Assistants. The AVA Company also provides a free client matching service for all participants to help them secure jobs as virtual assistants.

Who is the course for? 

  • Stay at home moms who needs consistent income with time flexibility.
  • Graduate (from a post secondary institution) seeking employment.
  • University Student on holiday but would love the benefit of work experience 


What will I learn?

The course is divided into 2 components; taught modules and internship modules.

The taught modules Include: 

  • 1. Social Media Management
  • 2. WordPress and Blog Management
  • 3. Mail List Management 
  • 4. Using Apps and Google Extensions for CRM, Sales and Workflow Management
  • 5. Document Management (includes MS office application overview)
  • 6. General Administration (Correspondence Management, Appointment Scheduling e.t.c)

The internship module is a 6 week work experience with a real client. This will help participants understand client expectations as they learn on a virtual assistant role implementing all they have learnt in the taught modules. The internship could be paid or unpaid but participants are very likely to receive a full contract and be retained by the client thereafter. The AVA company will match participants to clients for the internship period.
